Our Staff Charity of the Year 2025
We’re delighted to announce our new Staff Charity of the Year for 2025 is the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation.
The organisation is a rescue team that responds to incidents surrounding the Ogwen Valley, Glyderau, and Carneddau mountain ranges in northern Eryri (Snowdonia). The team consists of on-call volunteers 24 hours a day throughout the year. So far this year, they have responded to 169 incidents in the area.
Every year, Watkin Property Ventures (WPV) staff choose a charity to support throughout the year by organising various fundraising events. One of WPV’s family members recently needed the support of Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue, which made the charity a clear choice for this year’s staff charity. The staff look forward to organising more events and fundraising activities.
