Tŷ Gobaith
Hope House Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices is a centre of excellence for children’s palliative care, set up to ensure every family facing the death of a child gets the very best care and support when and where they need it.
The charity cares for babies, children and young people who have life-threatening conditions and are not expected to live beyond 18 years of age. They offer counselling and bereavement counselling to hospice families, and those living in the area who have suffered the death of a child in any circumstance up to 18 years of age.
Back In 2021, amid challenging times, we launched our inaugural 36-hour Final Moments Matter campaign, aiming to secure £500,000 to ensure that no family faced the heart-wrenching loss of a child alone in the subsequent months. Watkin Property Ventures has been a dedicated supporter of Final Moments Matter since the inaugural campaign, once again demonstrating their commitment by generously donating £20,000 for the third consecutive year. During this year's campaign, Watkin Property Ventures' £20,000 donation effectively doubled to £40,000, funding an entire month of emergency and end-of-life care services for terminally ill children. This illustrates the profound impact of one donation—twice the impact. We express our deep gratitude to Watkin Property Ventures for their consistent support of this remarkable campaign, which has significantly improved the final moments for seriously ill local children and their families.
