Island Academy International School

Established in the south of the island, the goal was to establish an internationally accredited school that would prepare its students for access to higher education anywhere in the world. Today it has more than 300 students from nursery through to year 13. It is known for its diversity, with students from over 15 countries as well as those born in Antigua and Barbuda.

The first thing that you notice when you walk into Island Academy is how happy, smiley and confident the children are.

Annually we sponsor the education of three children from disadvantaged families. But it’s more than just paying school fees. We also ask for a commitment from the families of the children to get involved in their schoolwork and support the school in any way they can. We believe the partnership between the school; the family and the sponsor can only work if all parties are fully committed to supporting the child through their education. It gives us immense pride watching these children thrive and grow during their school years.
