Over £7,400 raised for Cuddles Charity
North Wales-based Watkin Property Ventures (WPV) has announced that it has raised over £7,400 for its chosen staff charity for 2024, Cuddles, which will go towards refurbishment and extension of the parent’s accommodation at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
The charity works with the hospital’s Neonatal Unit, providing lifesaving equipment and support for families. The donation will enable Cuddles to continue providing exceptional care at the hospital.
Throughout the year, staff at WPV have organised several fundraisers to support the charity, including activities such as raffles, bake sales, staff competitions, step challenges and sponsored walks. For the year, staff raised £3,716.80 for Cuddles, with the Chief Executive of WPV, Mark Watkin Jones, committing to match the amount raised, bringing the total donation to an impressive £7,433.60.
